I am affiliated with or am sponsored by a U.S. Government agency. I understand that the Radarsat data received through NOAA and/or the National Ice Center (NIC) can be used only under the following terms and conditions:
- My organization's use of these data is restricted solely to environmental monitoring, education, and other non-commercial, governmental purposes.
- Radarsat products may not be disclosed to any person or organization other than my employees and affiliates, for the purposes listed above.
- Data, data products, or value added products containing recognizable Radarsat imagery may not be distributed to Third Parties in a manner which will compete with commercial sales of data, without permission of the Canadian Space Agency (CSA).
- Products which are derived from Radarsat data, but do not contain any recognizable Radarsat imagery, may be distributed by the government agency having the mandate to provide this service.
- NASA or NOAA may periodically provide processed images to the media solely for the purpose of promoting their involvement in the Radarsat project.
- My organization will provide NESDIS and NIC with reports on its uses and applications of Radarsat data.
I understand that the intellectual property rights of Radarsat data are reserved solely for CSA, and my organization is entitled only to the right to utilize the data. My organization will clearly mark all Radarsat data products, irrespective of the form in which they are reproduced, in such a way that the CSA copyright is plain to all as follows: © Canadian Space Agency (year of reception).
Reports of publications describing Radarsat experiments which are copyrighted must provide royalty-free rights for NASA, NOAA, CSA, and Radarsat International (RSI) to reproduce or use such work for their own purposes.
If you do not work directly for a U.S. Government agency, we would prefer that you also include an endorsement from your sponsor on their agency letterhead.

fax it to 301-394-3200 (ATTN: RADARSAT ORDER DESK/Liaison). You will
be contacted regarding your account information.
NOTE: This agreement
expires one year from date of signature and must be updated on an annual basis
to ensure access to RADARSAT DATA.
